SakaMai Kyoya Shochu Flight Night
Apologies for the late notice, but SakaMai in the Lower East Side of Manhattan is having an evening with the president of Kyoya Distillery on Saturday, March 16th from 6pm to close. Mr. Watanabe and the shochu loving folks at SakaMai will be sharing 3 products from this premium Miyazaki distillery in a $20 flight.
Kappa No Sasoimizu, a premium 20% ABV shochu made from sweet potatoes.
Heihachiro, what I like to call a “big boy” shochu. This is a 25% ABV sweet potato shochu made with black koji in a traditional style. It’s full bodied and delicious, but not for the faint of heart (or palate).
Hebess Cool from J-Chord, a shochu liqueur recently released to the US market.
